Obituary of Russell Pinto

Russell Pinto, a lifelong resident of the Stamford/Darien area, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Born April 19, 1967 in Stamford, he is the son of Sandra Pinto of Darien and the late Dominick Pinto. He was 45. Russell was a graduate of Darien High School. He was a long time local pool contractor and an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors, cooking and traveling. Beside his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Richard Pinto and his wife Sharon of Norwalk; Christopher Pinto of Darien; and two sisters, Debra Pinto DeLeo and her husband Ron of Monroe, CT and Pamela Pinto DeStefano and her husband Harrison of Wilton, CT. He is also survived by seven nieces, two nephews and his faithful dog, Tucker. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Connecticut Affiliate Inc., 5 Brookside Drive, P. O. Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492.
