Obituary of Vincent Paul Pleasic

Vincent Paul Pleasic, a life long Darien resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Stamford Hospital in Stamford. Born August 5, 1916 in Darien, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen (Orosz) Pleasic. He was 90. Vincent was a graduate of Darien High School. He was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church were he was their handyman. He also worked for Wee Burn Country Club. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife Lucy Lopez Pleasic of Darien; one brother Ambrose also of Darien and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 1:30 PM. Interment will be private.
