Angela Marie DiPilato Obituary

Angela Marie DiPilato, a long time resident of Wilton, CT, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Stamford Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in 1963 in Stamford and raised in Darien, she was the daughter of Sam and Rose (Batten) Gesualdi of Darien. She was 44.


Angela graduated from Connecticut College and received her Master’s degree from the University of Bridgeport. She was the treasurer for Gesualdi Construction. She was an extremely devoted mother to her two children, Michael, age 13 and Victoria, age 10.


Angela devoted the later part of her life to traveling with her family. She enjoyed watching her kids participate in their various sports and activities. Besides her parents and her two children, she is survived by her husband, Michael of Wilton; two brothers, Louis Gesualdi of Darien and Anthony Gesualdi of Stamford; and one sister, Maria Brown of Ponchatoula, LA. She was beloved by her five nephews, Sam, Peter and Reid Gesualdi; and Isaac and Sevi Brown.


The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, March 18, 2007 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
