Obituary of Marjorie Noyd Just

Marjorie Noyd Just, a resident of Norwalk and a former longtime resident of Darien, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2013 at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Fairfield, CT. Born on March 26, 1927 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Siegfeld and Gertrude Ellen Farrelly Noyd. She was 86. Marjorie graduated from Darien High School in 1944. She worked as a receptionist at Pitney Bowes and was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church. She volunteered for the American Red Cross and was an avid traveler. She is survived by her children, Kevin Just of Norwalk; Brian Just and his wife Carol of North Branford, CT; and Kathleen Schroeder and her husband Robert of Naugatuck, CT. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Mark A. Schroeder; Suzanne I. Jute, Kenneth T. Schroeder, Laura L. Francis, John C. Just and Jacqueline Elizabeth Just and six great grandchildren, Carson A. Jute, Emily C. Schroeder, Christian R. Jute, Cameron F. Jute, Rebecca R. Schroeder and Lilliana L. Francis. She was predeceased by a brother, Oscar S. Noyd, Jr. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd., Darien on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent the American Red Cross, Connecticut Chapter Darien, 39 Leroy Avenue, Darien, CT 06820 or Diabetes Foundation, 13 Sunflower Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.
