It is impossible to describe a person's life in simply a few words. Most definitely, this is true of Delia. She was an elegant, gifted, and extremely intelligent lady. Specifically, my memories of her take me back to our art class with dear Mrs. Helen Stone. Delia was a gifted artist, whose elegance and beauty were displayed through her creations. Obviously, that brilliant creativity continued throughout her life. Our deepest sympathies are extended to each family member, in the loss of one so dear. with love and prayers,

Dee Dee was special. Talented, smart, and kind. She will be so missed! What I remember most about Dee Dee is how welcoming she was and kind when I moved to CHS in the 10th grade. It's awkward moving into a new high school and I was grateful for the kindness.

What a beautiful and brilliant life was lost. As I send out news to classmates on group email, Dee Dee would often write back and thank me. She was an encourager to me and many others. The last time that I saw her was when her dad passed away. She was still elegant and beautiful.

My fondest recollections of high school include the encouragement of my friend Dee Dee when an assignment in speech class had me tied up in knots. This is how I will remember her...not just as the smartest person in our class, but as the one who took the time to help. My sympathies on you loss.

Truly sorry for your loss. Dee Dee was a special person. I especially remember attending school with her. I remember how everyone looked up to her because she was so grateful and thankful for everything. She always had kind words and I will always remember her smiles. I never heard her say a bad thing about anyone but always treated everyone with respect and dignity. She made everyone feel special around her. That in itself told me alot about who she was inside. She followed the "Golden Rule." Treat everyone like you would want to be treated.
