Obituary of Dennis Edward Donohue

Dennis Edward Donohue, a resident of Rowayton, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on September 4, 1937 in Grove City, PA, he was the son of the late William and Helene (Davis) Donohue. He was 75. Dennis was employed in the field of human resources and over the years held positions at KrautKramer-Branson, Holson, Peabody Engineering, Champion Energy and the US Bureau of the Census. In his later years he was an employee of STAR, a not-for-profit organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Dennis was proud of his service in the US Army's Special Forces and was an avid outdoorsman and fly fisherman. He is survived by his wife Sally Sylvester Donohue; his daughter, Heather Donohue-Greene and her husband Laurence, and grandson Nati of New York City; and his brother, Bruce Donohue of Westport, CT. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 29th at The First Congregational Church of Darien 14 Brookside Road, Darien at 1pm. The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home of Darien handled the arrangements.
