Obituary of Thomas F. King

Thomas Francis King of Rye, NY and a long-time resident of Rockville Centre, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at The Osborn in Rye, NY. Born on February 22, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Emilie (Boedewig) King. He was 84. Thomas retired in 2001 after a long career at Goldman Sachs.
He is survived by two children, Kathleen King Moran and her husband, Christopher, of Darien, CT; Christopher T. King and his wife, Stacey, of Winslow, ME; and five grandchildren, Alexandra Raymond, Thomas King, Katie Moran, Kristen Moran and Kelly Moran and two great grandchildren, Harley and River Raymond. He is also survived by a brother, Gregory King of New Jersey. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen King in 2011.
The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Cathedral, 29 Quealy Place, Rockville Centre, NY on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
