Obituary of Sally Coratolo

Sally Coratolo, a resident of Lake Luzerne, NY and a former Norwalk resident, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY. Born on November 28, 1937 in Norwalk, she was the daughter of Dominic and Susan Fusco. She was 78. Sally was owner/broker of Sally Coratolo Associate Realtors for most of her adult life. She was president of the Norwalk Board of Realtors and was admired, respected and honored. There were several galas and events held where she received many awards and recognition. She was a true respected leader in her field. She was trustworthy, therefore made many deep friendships along the way that last a lifetime for some. Sally was also a member of the South Norwalk Columbiettes Auxiliary 1253. She fiercely loved her children, grandchildren and her brother. She was one in a million that taught us all the true meaning of family commitment. She will be greatly missed as she was the matriarch of our family. She is now with her husband, Carm, as they are once again joined together. She is survived by her daughter, Caryn Occulto and son-in-law, Stuart; her son, Thomas and daughter-in-law Michelle; a brother, Alphonse (Funzi) Fusco and his wife, Millie; five grandchildren, Timothy, Tyler, Todd, Casandra and Taylor; and two great grandsons, Nicholas, 4, and Matteo, 3. She is also survived by two nephews, Bob Mossop and Tony Fusco; and a niece, Diane and many cousins and loving friends. She was predeceased by one sister, Patty Mossop. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew R.C. Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk.
