Robert K. Zoubek a resident of Darien since 1958 passed away Saturday, May 26 2007 at home. He was born October 30, 1931 in New York City to the late Otto Zoubek and Ruth Cook Zoubek. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Ann Zoubek.

Robert received a bachelor’s degree from NYU and worked in Stamford, CT for many years in Purchasing at Dorr Oliver, Crawford and Russel and John Brown Inc. He was also active at the Darien Senior Center.

Robert is survived by his son, Thomas A. Zoubek of Weston, CT and his grandson Karl Zoubek of Westport, CT.

A graveside service will be held on May 30, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien CT. The Lawrence Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Rd., Wilton, CT 06897.
