Obituary of Margaret O'Toole Byrnes

Margaret O’Toole Byrnes, 94, died at home in Norwalk on June 22, 2007. She was born in Stamford on November 16, 1912 to the late Thomas and Mary Agnes Roddy O’Toole. She grew up in Darien and graduated from Darien High School in 1930. Margaret lived the last 54 years in Norwalk. She was a long time owner of her business, Interiors by Peg Byrnes, and belonged to many interior decorating organizations. Margaret is survived by her two brothers: John O’Toole of Darien and Vincent O’Toole of New Bern, NC. She was pre-deceased by her husband George Byrnes and her three brothers Thomas, James, and Frank O’Toole and one sister Catherine O’Toole. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home 2119 Post Rd Darien, on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St John R.C. Church 1986 Post Road Darien on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at St John R.C. Cemetery in Darien.
