Obituary of Elsie D. Berl

Elsie D. Berl, a longtime resident of Darien, passed away on Friday November 22, 2013 peacefully at home. She was the daughter of the late Bertram and Violette Jacob Berl. She was 96. Elsie loved music especially the piano and was a self-employed professor of music in Darien and New York City. She was also a longtime parishioner of St. Luke's Church in Darien. Although Elsie does not have any surviving family, she is survived by many friends. A visitation will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home in Darien on Monday November 25, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM.
