Obituary of Ronald Reagan Brunelle

Ronald Reagan Brunelle, 69, of Norwalk, CT, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on September 30 after a heroic battle against an 8 month illness. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many locally and far away. Always a humorous and optimistic person, he was admired by all who met him for his kindness, gentleness and love for all. Ron was born in Burlington, VT, served in the U.S. Navy and has been a resident of Connecticut for almost 40 years. He is survived by his wife Diane of 19 years, son Ryan and daughter in law Julie of Monroe, CT; daughter Kelly and son in law David of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughters Taylor, Alexis and Hensley; predeceased by son Kevin and brother Bob. Ron is also survived by his brother Dick of South Burlington, VT, sisters Kitty of Venice, FL and Sandy of Williston, VT as well as several nieces and nephews who will forever miss his smile and loving ways. Ron was an avid fan of the Yankees and New York Giants, a man who was quick with a smile, a booming laugh and a heart that always had room for more. We are forever grateful and better for having known and loved him. A mass of celebration will be held on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, CT, 06851. All are invited to attend.
