Obituary of Viola P. Albero

VIOLA P. ALBERO, age 83, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Thursday October 21st at Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice surrounded by her family. Born in North Castle N.Y. on June 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Fannie Reggiano and a graduate of Greenwich High School. Viola was a homemaker, an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and walking. She was most proud of her grandchildren, Christopher Albero, Lisa Poltrack, Amy Albero, Joshua Cohen and Cassie Albee. She is survived by her husband, John J. Albero. Viola and John celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 30th. In addition to her husband, Viola is survived by her son John A. Albero and his wife Pamela (Giannattasio), her daughters, Cheryl Poltrack and her husband Frank, Debi Albee and her husband Rick, her sister Paula Gaspar of Trumbull, and many loved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Arthur Reggiano Jr., Rose DeFelice and Nancy Furano. Calling hours will be at Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT on Tuesday, October 26th from 5-8 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 27th at 11 am at St. John Roman Catholic Church at 1986 Post Road in Darien.
