I was terribly saddened to learn recently of Dick Coveny's passing, as he was one of the finer gentlemen I had the pleasure of working with at Blair Entertainment in the mid-late 1980s. As his Administrative Assistant, it wasn't long before Dick noticed my special talents in story development and feature film packaging. He soon trusted his instincts and gave me the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the production of the popular "Divorce Court" series, which earned top ratings for five consecutive seasons during my tenure as Director of Story Development. Dick encouraged brainstorming and sharing of ideas to achieve a common goal, and coming to work was a pleasure. His photo is exactly as I remember him and it brings back such great memories. Dick, if you can hear me up there, thank you for five of the most rewarding years of my entire career. Rest in peace, my friend.
