Please accept my most sincere condolences. Few words can express our sorrow when we lose someone we truly love. But I hope your family is able to approach God in prayer and express your sorrow to Him. He promises that if we draw close to Him then He will draw close to us - James 4:8. So never underestimate the power of prayer. God is always there to listen and provide comfort when we need it the very most.

In simple terms, Rick was a great guy. He had worked for the building I managed for the past seven years. He has been taken from us but yet his presence will always be here. We at the Coachworks will miss him dearly. As he stated to me many times, it was like his second home and all of us knew it. His smile or good morning to everyone coming in to the building, helped make the start the day a little bit more pleasant. Its been said before so many times when we lose someone, but we thank his family for sharing Rick with us. We lost not only a great friend, but also a family member as well. I can see him now, making his beautiful art work in Heaven for the big guy. And he won't give it to him unless its perfect.

Dear Humes family, We want to send our deepest regret to you with Rick's passing. He was one of the most kind-hearted people we have encountered. He was so very dedicated to his job and was always incredibly sweet and helpful. He helped me grow a vegetable garden on the roof of our condo building! We also enjoyed the beautiful wooden artwork that he gave to us at the holidays. As owners of a condo at Coachworks, we only knew him a short time, but he was clearly a wonderful light in numerous people's lives and we know he will be sorely missed. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Warren and Leslie Long Coachworks condo #206
