Obituary of Vivian LoBuglio

Vivian LoBuglio, 90, of Stamford passed away peacefully with her loving family holding her at CT Hospice on October 30, 2016. She was born July 18, 1926 to Fred and Clara Harris in Stamford, CT and is finally reunited with her beloved late husband, Dominic. A long time resident of Stamford, Vivian's zest for life was an inspiration to all who knew her and earned her nicknames such as "Roadrunner" and "Tough Old Bird." Even after surviving lung cancer and two strokes, Vivian enjoyed going to social events and meeting new people. Vivian attended Stamford High School and enjoyed a successful career with the telephone company before starting her family. She had a charitable spirit and enjoyed helping others by reading to the blind and donating to many charities. Mother of Dominic LoBuglio III, Patricia Dalessio (Joseph), Bonnie Gregoire (Richard), and Lori LoBuglio. Sister of Shirley Laxton, Eugene Harris, Dolores Harvey, Fred Harris, Richard Harris, Sandy Galliford, and Roger Harris. Grandmother of Jessica Hermosura (Ryan), Philip Gregoire, Hayley Gregoire, Dominic LoBuglio IV, Marisa LoBuglio, and Patrick LoBuglio. Great-grandmother of Kaius and Ayla Rose Hermosura. Calling hours will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road in Darien. Her funeral will be at 11 am on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien. The family thanks all of her wonderful caregivers who made the last year of her life comfortable and enjoyable.
