Obituary of Rob Johnsen

Rob Johnsen, a life long resident of Darien, CT passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007 in Shelton, CT. Born in 1954 in Stamford, CT, he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Elizabeth R. (Townsend) Johnsen. He was 53 Rob graduated from Darien High School in 1972. His family were longtime members of Noroton Presbyterian Church. He was a local painter who had worked for James Falsey and had worked on the Alaskan Pipeline and in several other western states. He is survived by his beloved partner, Anne Eddy Powell and Anne’s daughter, Randi Powell both of Shelton. He is also survived by a brother William C. Johnsen of New York City and Darien; an aunt, Mary Townsend, also of New York City and Darien; and five cousins. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd., Darien on Monday, October 8, 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Noroton Presbyterian Church, 2011 Post Road, Darien on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
