Obituary of Brian J. Wood

Darien, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2016 in Norwalk. Born on May 7, 1950 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Arthur Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (O'Connor) Wood. He was 66. Brian attended Darien public schools. He worked as a sexton at Noroton Presbyterian Church for 13 years. He also worked at Darien Auto Body for over 20 years which lead to a lifetime love of cars. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Abbot Wood and a brother, Douglas J. Wood of Bethesda, MD. He is also survived by three nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence C. Wood. . The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
