Dear Dr. Goodhue, Lisa, Chris and families, We are so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. She was indeed a strong, talented and beautiful person whom we felt fortunate to have known. We so enjoyed chatting and sharing meals or drinks when we visited Darien for our family holidays or birthdays. Especially memorable is the Easter morning brunch after church several years ago at the Goodhue home. It was a warm sunny day with the sun sparkling off of the water and topped off by a Bloody Mary brunch. How fun it was and how gracious she was, with you Mr. Goodhue, to host us out of towners! Our thoughts, prayers and (virtual) hugs go out to you this weekend at her service. All our best, Karen, Jim, Ben and Parker

As many so well know, my sister Ann was a truly wonderful person who will be dearly missed. Long ago, Ann fortunately discovered and married Peter Goodhue. Together, they escaped the frozen tundra of northern Maine. In Darien, this charming couple established deep roots and raised two great children. While attending the children, Ann selflessly supported the sterling medical career of Dr Goodhue. Humbly, her automobile's license plate read "Ann Goodhue, Housewife." Ann and Peter deservingly enjoyed a good life, filled with worldwide travel, DownEast lobster, boating, love of children and grandchildren. They strongly supported charities and their church. Together, Ann and Peter were a model for how well a family can be. Ann will certainly remain in our hearts while we support Peter with our continued admiration.
