Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kenneth F. Flynn, a life long resident of Stamford , passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Stamford Hospital . Born in 1925 in Stamford , he was the son of the late Christopher and Julia ( Chichester ) Flynn. He was 82. Mr. Flynn worked for Excelsior Hardware as a machine operator. He was also a life long member of the Evangelical Community Church . For extra income to make ends meet since his retirement, Ken worked for Senior Employment assisting dozens and dozens of “seniors” in their shopping needs and other errands and never refused to go and take someone or help them in any way he could. In addition to helping in every way he could to make his wife’s, Frances , life easier to get where she needed to go and do what she needed to do after she became disabled with a back injury 20 years ago. Ken also supported her in her love of feeding the birds. He was always the friendliest person, always giving a handshake and a broad smile and never excluded his wife – “This is my wife Fran, I don’t know if you have ever met her.” His other special interest was taking his son, Kenny, every where he needed to go and supported his love of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and the many other things that he enjoyed. Ken is survived by his wife of 42 years, Frances Belasco Flynn and his son, Kenneth J. Flynn both of Stamford . A Graveside Service will be held at Fairfield Memorial Park , Oaklawn Avenue , Stamford on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 10:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at Evangelical Community Church , 1155 Newfield Avenue , Stamford at 11:00 AM .
