Hi Ma, I saw you on the 40th day. Dressed in blue, sunglasses riding on the bridge of your nose, as you looked back at me with that gorgeous smile. Thanks for stopping by. I miss you every second of every day. xxxoooxxx :P

Dear Family, Mom had a way of looking at everything with the eyes of an angel. Those eyes reflected the light and dark side in all of us with a sweet yet fierce awareness of what was important and what really mattered in life. Mom taught me to accept all God's colors of the rainbow in people. Mom taught me to forgive; as painful as it was when I was younger; now forgiveness is second nature to me. She taught me to think outside the box; even when it was so far out that it defied the laws of physics and most of our human understanding. She is the reason I love Science Fiction and why I love to write. Her motto was: When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Mom, you are forever an angel and a symbol of hope and strength for us all. I love you!

Because of knowing the heartache of losing a loved one (I recently lost my dear mom), I am taking time out of my day to share a comforting scripture with you during this sad time. The Bible points to a time when "your dead ones will live...They will rise up" (Isaiah 26:19). We can take comfort that God is yearning for the appointed time when all those in the memorial tombs will be awakened from death into a world that is peaceful and filled with righteous people and we will not have to face death anymore. I hope this thought can bring you some comfort.
