James Thomas Daly a long time resident of Darien died January 10, 2008 in Clearwater FL. Born in Fort Jackson SC, he was the son of the late James William Daly and Genevieve Newton Daly. He was 64.

James graduated from Darien High school as the class of 1961. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He also worked as a computer systems operator at GE Credit Corporation for 23 years. He is survived by his long time companion, Barbara Raue, two aunts and several cousins.

Calling hours will be held at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd., Darien on Tuesday January 15, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford.
