Obituary of Patricia E. Riith

Patricia E. Riith, 73, of Darien, CT, passed away at home on the morning of Friday, April 11, 2014 after a long illness. She was born on October 21, 1940 at Stamford Hospital to the late Michael J. Gol and Elsie Gol. Patricia graduated from high school in Lancaster, PA. She was employed at Dorr Oliver in Stamford where she met her husband, Robert A. Riith. Patricia and Robert were married at St. John R.C. Church in Darien on October 7, 1961. She loved spending time with her family. She was very active with her children's activities, including Boy Scouts, Little League and Darien Youth Hockey. She was a selfless, caring woman who will be missed by those who knew and loved her, and her memory will live on in their hearts. She is survived by her brothers, John (Sally) and Andrew (Julia), her children, Robert A. Jr. (Jill); Frances and Michael (Maggie). Also surviving are her seven grandchildren, Michael, Mikaela, Wayman, Jake, Max, Mitch and Elsie. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Mickey. There will not be any calling hours and interment will be private. There will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C.
