Obituary of Christine Braun

Christine Braun, a resident of Monroe, CT for the last 10 years, died on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born on December 18, 1965 in Queens, NY and raised in Darien, she was the daughter of Charles and Rosemarie McCaghey of Darien, CT. She was 45. Christine was a former employee of U. S. Surgical. She loved to spend time with her son, Connor, and visit with family and friends. She also enjoyed skiing and reading. She is survived by her husband, Louis Braun and one son, Connor both of Monroe, CT. She is also survived by a brother Michael and his wife, Ellen, McCaghey of Wilton, CT; and a sister Laura and her husband, Brian, Hagen of Darien. She is also survived by four brother and sister-in-laws and 11 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Blake Braun in 2002. The family will received friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford.
