Ann M. Coughlin, a 55 year resident of Darien, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Ann Marie O'Donnell was born on July 21, 1929 in Greenwich, CT. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (McBride) O'Donnell. She was a 1947 graduate of Greenwich High School. Ann worked as a secretary at the Greenwich Town Hall. Ann was active in the choir at St. Thomas More and St. John Church. She was also a member of the Norwalk Chorale. She was an excellent homemaker and her true passion centered around her family and music She is survived by two children and their spouses, Cathy and Jeff Kozak of Norwalk, CT; and Nancy and Todd Gunderson of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Ann is also survived by four grandchildren, Emily and Sarah Kozak of New York City, NY; and Chris and Carly Gunderson of Mt. Laurel, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, George, in 2006 and a daughter, Noreen Coughlin Berry, in 1997. The family will received friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 8:45 to 9:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R. C.
