Obituary of Beatrice M. Pustella

Beatrice M. Pustella, 90, a life long resident of Stamford, died peacefully on April 24, 2011 at The Smith House Healthcare Center in Stamford. Born on November 21, 1920, in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Mary Ellen Coughlan McAuliffe. Mrs. Pustella attended Stamford Public School. She was employed by Glenbrook Labs, Electric Indicator and Yale and Towne Manufacturing Co, formerly in Stamford. Mrs. Pustella was a parishioner of Saint Maurice Church in Stamford. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley P. Pustella; a sister, Helena C. Austin; a brother-in-law, James F. Austin; a sister, Catherine M Rinella; and a brother-in-law, James Joseph Rinella. She is survived by several nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to the dedicated nurses and nursing assistants at The Smith House Healthcare Center for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Mrs. Pustella. The family will received friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Maurice Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Darien.
