Obituary of Ellen Elisabeth Doenges

Ellen Elisabeth Doenges of Wilton, formerly of New Canaan, died Monday, May 9. She was 68 years old. She was born on October 24, 1942.
"A good heart has stopped beating after a 17-year battle with cancer," her family said. "You are forever in our hearts."
Mrs. Doenges is survived by Herbert Doenges; Susanne, Gregory, Katharina, Alexander and Nicholas Palmer; Oliver and Caitlyn Doenges; Brigitte, Tobias and Tim Schmidt and family; and Ulrike Doenges.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan. Memorial donations may be made to the Bennett Cancer Center, tshf.org/donatenow.
