June Howard O'Donohue, 88, of Norwalk passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 24, 2011 at Norwalk Hospital.
Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of Robert Emmett Howard (who ran for mayor of Norwalk in 1947) and Ella Payne Howard. Mrs. O'Donohue graduated from Norwalk High School and Stoneleigh College, Rye Beach, New Hampshire. She has been a life long resident of Norwalk.
Her husband, Gerald James O'Donohue predeceased her. Her two daughters, Sharon Montero of Darien and Patricia Miller of Greenwich, survive her. She has five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
June was a wonderful mother and a loving wife. Her warmth, grace, compassion, sense of humor, keen insight, and wisdom will be missed beyond measure.
Funeral services will be private.
