Bob What a terrible loss for you, your children and the community. Saralyn was such an important part of the lives of so many people in Darien. I was sitting here thinking of all the times my volunteer jobs crossed paths with Saralyn and it goes back years. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you Sincerely, Kathy & Steve

My deepest sympathies - Martha and I knew and admired Saralyn for a very long time, shared wonderful memories of times spent together, and will miss her.

Bob, Avery, and Baker, August and I are here together side by side reading and viewing and thinking of you our family there in Darien and of my dear dear sister. I am heart broken as you are there and can not say or do very much else for a while. No, I do not really know your absolute pain there. But I am sitting here in utter respect and love and thinking of you three. Lee and August

Saralyn was my first cousin and very dear to me. When she and Bob decided to get married they invited me to be in the wedding. I was so honored and thrilled. I was just 16 but Saralyn made me feel like I was just as grown up as the rest of her brides maids. Saralyn accomplished so much in her life and was an outstanding lady and role model for her family and her community. I can't imagine the world without her. Bob, Avery, and Baker, you all are in our prayers and if there is anything that we can do for you please let us know. We cherish Saralyn's memory and will keep her in our hearts. Patty, Monte, Nathan and Megan Akers (Lankford)
