Obituary of Katherine Teeter Olsson

Katherine Teeter Olsson, age 93, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the Jewish Home for the Elderly, Fairfield. Mrs. Olsson, a retiree of the Stamford Savings Bank, was born in Toronto, Canada to the late James Ross and Hermia (Miegel) Teeter and had been a resident of Darien and Stamford most of her life. She was a graduate of Stamford High School and a longtime member of Union Memorial Church, Stamford. Survivors include her beloved husband of 63 years, Frank A. Olsson, her two daughters, Janet Skigen and her husband, Ken, of Carmel, Indiana and Andrea Burke and her husband Michael of Trumbull; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Skigen and Timothy Burke. She was pre-deceased by two brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2008, 2:00 p.m., at Union Memorial Church, 58 Church St, Stamford with the Rev. Blaine Edele officiating. Interment will be private at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
