Obituary of Stanley P. Pustella

Stanley P. Pustella, a resident of Stamford, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Tandet Center in Stamford. Born in 1919 in New Canaan, he was the son of the late Helen Sverki Pustella and Matteus Pustella. He was 88.
Stanley attended New Canaan Public Schools. He served with the Army National Guard in the South Pacific during World War II. He retired from Pitney Bowes where he worked as a carpenter for many years.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Beatrice McAuliffe Pustella of Stamford. He was predeceased by three brothers, Edward, Michael and Ralph Pustella and three sisters, Florence Itman, Julie Grabash and Isabelle Zaboyin.
Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Maurice R.C. Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. John R.C. Cemetery, Darien.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Maurice R.C. Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, CT 06906.
