Obituary of Dianne M Fullarton

Dianne M. Fullarton passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday August 26 th.  Born February 18, 1940 in Cleveland, OH, she was a longtime resident of Darien, CT. Dianne was devoted to her Catholic faith, and a patron whom, regularly attending mass at the Convent of St. Brigitta's in Darien and made several close and enduring friendships with the Monsignor and the Sisters there. The very definition of a self-made woman, she started her professional career as a secretary and assistant with several small companies in Stamford, CT. She worked her way up to mid-management at Olin Corporation where she handled ground transportation for their chemical division.  Dianne left that position to become a regional manager for Mary Kay Cosmetics where she was able to mentor multiple women to start their own businesses. Many of whom she would become lifelong friends with. Dianne then went on to use her management skills and experience to start her own organizational company. As a business owner, she worked with and developed close personal and professional relationships with her clients, colleagues and contemporaries in fields of finance, medical professionals, authors, politics and theology.

Dianne truly was the bright light in any room bringing her warmth and signature sparkle everywhere she went and to everyone who had the good fortune of meeting her. She is missed beyond words.

She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth & Elmer Mlinar, her sister Sylvianne M. Yurgel and her son, Joseph Mark Morano. Dianne is survived by her son Robert Fullarton, her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Fullarton of St. Petersburg, FL, her grand daughters Valerie Fullarton of New York and Madison Fullarton of Ft Meyers, FL, and many close family members both in CT and OH.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at the Convent of St. Brigitta's at a later date.
