Obituary of Sarah Ellen Creamer

Sarah Ellen Creamer, 51, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Born on April 9, 1974 in New York, New York, Sarah spent her childhood in Darien, Connecticut, where she attended Ox Ridge Elementary School and Darien High School. She later pursued her education at the University of Connecticut focusing on Equine Veterinary Science.

Sarah had a lifelong passion for animals. Her love for horses was evident throughout her life; she owned and trained several horses and competed in equestrian events. Sarah's connection to animals extended beyond horses—she was a devoted friend to dogs and cats alike. Her rescue dog, Max, held a special place in her heart and was a cherished companion to both Sarah and her children.

As a mother, Sarah was deeply caring and devoted to her children, Olivia and Liam. Their bond was one of love and closeness that brought immense joy to her life. She also shared a strong connection with her children's father, Matt Cefalo, and with her brother Andrew Creamer. Sarah's warmth extended to all who knew her; she was not only a loving mother but also a loyal friend whose kindness left an indelible mark on those around her. Sarah found joy in cooking and often expressed her creativity through the meals she prepared. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and connection where memories were made with family and friends.

Sarah was predeceased by her parents, Janet Kissling Creamer of Castine, Maine, and John William Creamer of Darien, Connecticut. Their memory remained close to Sarah's heart. Sarah's legacy is one of compassion—for people and animals alike—and an enduring spirit that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service for Sarah will be held on August 13, 2026 at 1 PM at the Darien United Methodist Church, 345 Middlesex Road, Darien CT 06820 the Rev. Laura Galbraith presiding.
