Obituary of Gail Ruth Negus

Gail R Negus, age 81, passed away peacefully at home in Norwalk, Connecticut on June 5, 2026.

She was born in Bloomfield, New Jersey to John and Ruth Swenson on April, 19, 1945. She graduated from Bloomfield High School and then received a BA in English from the University of Vermont and a Master's degree in fine arts from Manhattanville University and a Master's degree in special education from Sacred Heart University.

Gail firmly believed that the three most important things in life were kindness, kindness and kindness. She took joy in her volunteer work and her love of animals.

There will be no funeral services and rather she wanted to have a Celebration of Life that will be scheduled later this year.

Memorial donations can be made to the Bennett Cancer Center in Stamford, Connecticut, or to Adopt a Dog in Armonk, New York.
