One of my favorite habits that Hrusa did during lecture was pointing out mistakes in published books. These mistakes typically motivated him to come up with his own formulas which he patiently taught to students for decades. A generation of ignorance avoided by the meticulous work of one man. As his students he catapulted our understanding of everything he discussed to the forefront of the field. I am fortunate to have learned from such a man inside and outside the classroom. May he rest in peace.
Professor Hrusa is one of my favorite professors of all time. He was always kind, calm with a bit sense of humor. May he be embraced by the warmest light.
