Olga Breswitz passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2026. She was born in Binghamton, NY on October 28, 1925. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Gordon Breswitz, also from Binghamton, NY.
Together, Olga and Ralph worked as a team on many international art and photography projects for major publications, which allowed them to travel extensively. They enjoyed the adventurous life.
Olga loved, in no particular order, Dachshunds, Corvettes, French Cooking and parties.
She adored her many nieces and nephews and considered them her children. Together they celebrated her 100th birthday in October of 2025.
Olga lived in the same house in Rowayton, CT for 70 years. In her neighborhood she made many long and lasting friendships with wonderful neighbors who made her a part of their families. Over the years they adopted Olga and took wonderful care of her.
Throughout her life, regardless of circumstances, she embraced the wonderful things the world had to offer. Her kindness and caring personality will be missed by those who had the delightful experience of meeting and becoming her friend.
A Visitation will be Friday January 16, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien CT from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service, which includes a celebration of life and blessing. Burial will be private at Union Cemetery in Rowayton.
