I am so sorry to hear this terrible news and want to express my deepest condolences to Sally and Bill’s whole family. I grew up across the street from Bill. He was my first best buddy and a close family friend. We spent countless days doing kid things such as exploring nearby forests and ponds, building forts, and biking to the beach to fish. I am so grateful to have reconnected with Bill during the last few years. If you knew Bill as an adult, you also know what he was like as a child, full of excitement for each new adventure, generous to everyone, and a steadfast friend.
