Patricia Binder Warren died November 26 at Stamford Hospital. Born on May 19, 1947 in Ann Arbor, MI, she was 78. She was known as Patty to family and friends.

As a child, she and her family moved many times living in Arizona, Illinois, and Ohio before settling in Darien when she was 15. Senior year at Darien High School she would meet her future husband, Joe Warren when their lockers were next to each other. The pair started dating two years later, and married on May 31, 1969. They were blessed with a daughter, Abigail Jean in 1975 and a son, Joseph Robert Jr. in 1979.

Patty earned an Associate's Degree from Norwalk Community College in 1986 and a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Connecticut in 1992. She worked almost her entire life. She was an incredibly driven and hardworking woman. She worked for Cannondale in New Canaan, the Gene Reilly Group in Darien, and managed the ad sales department at Golf Digest and Tennis Magazine in Trumbull. After leaving corporate Patty and Joe opened a Wild Birds Unlimited Franchise in Bedford Hills, followed by a second store in Darien. She was an avid backyard birder and gardener She was happiest being outside in nature and doing craft projects with her grandsons. She was an accomplished swimmer and a lay assistant. After retiring from Wild Birds she focused her energy on spending time with her 3 grandsons.

Patty is survived by her husband, Joe Warren Sr., daughter Abby Shiner (Craig), son Joe Warren Jr., brother Bill Binder in Vista, CA, grandsons Ben, Griffin, and Ethan in addition to many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Emilie Jean Binder, father Ivo Binder and her brother Robert Ivo Binder. Calling hours will take place on Thursday December 4 from 4pm-8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home in Darien. A funeral service will follow on Friday December 5 at 10am at St. Luke's Church in Darien.
