I would like to share my sympathies with the family. I played backgammon with Bob every month at the University Club from mid-2000 to the end of 2004 when I moved to Texas. Bob and I both attended Choate, although we were separated by 27 years. I will never forget his train story about the first time he went to Sewanee after a long illness. He had a way with words. In fact, that story inspired me to move to Texas (way down South) and experience the warmer climate and culture. I am sure that a train will carry him to heaven (traveling at night through the South to visit old friends in winter). Best, Jim Reardon
