Julie and I had the distinct joy of sharing our beautiful granddaughter, Tessa, for seventeen years. As the center of a Grandmother’s love, pride and joy, Tess is the bond which sustained our very special relationship, which we both embraced and cherished. A very special lady Julie added a wonderful dimension to our joined families.

I had the pleasure of being Julies neighbor and friend for 21 years. She was a beautiful person with a warm smile, and I always enjoyed talking with her about any and everything. We had similar opinions about life and family-her family was truly her pride and joy. Julie babysat my eldest son whenever my sitters canceled last minute, and she even watched our pet lizard when we would go away-even feeding him his worms with tweezers bc he was blind! Our boys wouldn’t let anyone else watch Lizzie! She had such a kind and generous heart. She never got upset when our dog cooper escaped into her back yard and tried to eat as mulch as he could, which happened more than once. Instead, she would just smile at me through the window and laugh as I tried to coral him! That was Julie-graceful, patient and full of humor. She was my emergency contact which says everything about the trust and respect I had for her. I will miss her dearly.
