Obituary of Anita Collins

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Anita Collins, who entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2025, at the age of 80.

Anita, daughter of Dolly and Jack Neus, was a devoted mother and friend whose kindness, faith, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, John Collins and his wife Sarah, and Kevin Collins and his wife Lesley. Anita was predeceased by her daughter Eileen Collins.  Anita’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend the following services in her honor:

A Wake will be held Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at 10:00 AM. at St. John Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820. Burial Service immediately following Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
