I have such wonderful memories of Anita - I would see her 3 times a week at the CSJ thrift store in Brentwood, where she volunteered diligently for years, taking Ubers and a ferry from her home in CT all the way to Brentwood. Anita would always, without fail, ask about my daughter, how she was doing in college, and always offer prayers for her. Those prayers and that concern meant so much to me. Anita was so giving of herself, always busy, and always ready to offer a motherly hug or word of encouragement to any of us: staff, volunteers, refugee residents from Ukraine and Afghanistan. What a perfect example of Christ’s love for us that she displayed as she loved others and gave of herself without restraint. Rest easy in the arms of our Lord, and my heartfelt condolences to your family.
