Broken, extremely broken. I lost a big part of me that will never be replaced. I meant Frank 28 years ago when I moved to the USA and quickly we formed a strong bond. He genuinely loved me as a father.
He was my best friend, my counselor, and my strongest cheerleader. He was always there to applaud all my accomplishments big or small. He was there for me in good time and bad time. He was at my high school graduation, when receiving my bachelor and my master degree. He was also there in my wedding, for the birth of my two kids and the kids functions. He was also by the hospital bed when my kids and my husband were sick. I can go on and on.
He never missed an opportunity to tell me how proud he was of me and how I was doing a good job as a mother and as a nurse.
I miss him so much. It is hard to imagine life without him. I am holding on to all the great memories that we had together. He will always be in my heart and the life of my family.
Rest in peace Frank until we meet again.
