Obituary of Niels Arne Andersen Jr.

Niels Arne Andersen, Jr., 76, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Norwalk, Connecticut. Niels lived most of his life in Baltimore, before recently relocating to Connecticut with his wife, Elaine Gordon. Niels is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Gordon; his son, Christian (Stacey) Andersen; his stepchildren, Sara (Justin) Santana and Matthew Gordon; his cherished grandchildren, Samantha Andersen, Christian Andersen, Luca Santana, Adelaide Santana, and Juliette Santana; his sisters, Carolyn Andersen (Dave McKay), Anna Ellis, and Sally (Jim) Clark; and his niece and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Niels and Ellen Andersen. Niels served as a Marine in Vietnam, before becoming a computer programmer. He will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful man, an avid reader, and a devoted husband and father, who loved the role of Granddad and Pop Pop.
