James J. Morrison passed away on May 9, 2025. He was born on August 31, 1950 to Edward and Doris Morrison in Stamford, CT. He was raised in Darien, CT and graduated from Darien High School in 1969. After graduation he joined the United States Marines and served from 1969 to 1973. He served in Vietnam reaching the rank of Sergent. After the service, he worked for the US Postal Service.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Nancy, son Michael, daughter Melissa (Dan) Gibbs, brothers Bill and Bob and four grandsons.

Visitation will be held at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien CT 06820 on Tuesday May 13, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM. Mass will be at St John Church, 1986 Post Rd., Darien CT 06820 on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Darien.
