Paul Hackett, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2025 at the age of 70. Born December 6th, 1954 Paul was raised in Stamford, Connecticut, where he began a lifelong journey marked by quiet integrity and intellectual rigor. 

A graduate of King High School, Paul went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, followed by an MBA from Columbia University. His academic path led to a successful career in finance and investment management, achieving the role of Senior Vice President at Thomson Financial. 

Following his retirement, Paul enjoyed life in Florida, splitting his time between Vero Beach and West Palm Beach. A lifelong golfer, he found great joy and community as a member of the PGA National Member's Club. Golf was more than a pastime — it was a passion he carried with him throughout his life. He also had a deep appreciation for travel, often seeking out new places and cultures with curiosity. 

Paul is survived by his mother, Marie Hackett and his brother, Walter Hackett.. He was predeceased by his father Walter Joseph Hackett. Paul will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and former colleagues.

A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor on Friday, May 9th at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Paul's memory to a charity of your choice.
