I have many memories of Dick Stitzel from my childhood...I remember being woken up on weekend mornings after having spent the night, the ever-present sound of woodchopping, and his cigars, and his drums! I spent many happy hours as a guest in the Stitzel home and my memories will always make me smile. Overall, while he put on a gruff and tough front, he had a big heart. My condolences to the family, and my apologies for my delay in signing the guestbook. I only found out about his death today. God bless you all!
