Obituary of Frances Studwell Stevens Fisher

Frances Studwell Stevens Fisher, a long time resident of Stamford, CT, passed away at TideWell Hospice in Bradenton, FL on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Born in 1920 in Springdale, CT, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Theodore and Ada Piatt Studwell. She was 88. Frances worked for the City of Stamford Health Department for 18 years as a secretary, Stamford Board of Education and Conde Nast. She was a member of Stamford Baptist Church, D.A.R. and A.A.R.P. Frances is survived by one son, Thomas R. Morck of Falls Village, CT; three brothers, Alfred Studwell of Georgia, Horace Studwell of Virginia, William Studwell of Michigan and two sisters, Dorothy Olson of Virginia and Mary Wildes of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer L. Stevens. A Graveside Service will be held at Roxbury Cemetery, Roxbury Terrace, Stamford on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 10:00 AM.
