Obituary of Arline Sawyer Waring

Arline Sawyer Waring, a long time Stamford resident died on Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice Residence in Stamford. Born January 30, 1912 in Montpelier, VT, she was the daughter of the late Hazel and Dave Sawyer. She was 96. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Hlavaty and her husband Ron, along with her daughter-in-law Joann Waring, her grandchildren, Michael Waring and his wife Jacqueline, Joseph Waring, Danielle Flowers and her husband Tom and Justin Hlavaty and his wife Amanda, and her great grandchildren Amanda Jamie and Michael Waring, and Naomi Peyton and Noah Flowers. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frederick Waring, Sr., their son Frederick Waring, Jr. and her siblings, Evelyn Small, David Sawyer and Daniel Sawyer. A Graveside Service will be held at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made in her name to Union Memorial Church, 58 Church Street, Stamford, CT 06906.
