Obituary of Anna S. Kerr

Anna S. Kerr, a ten-year resident of Darien and formerly of Stratford, CT, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Wilton Meadows in Wilton, CT. Born in 1915 in Meriden, CT, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Concetta (Misinonile) Gallo. She was 93. She worked for Reads Department Store and the University of Bridgeport.
Anna is survived by a son, Alexander Kerr of Canada and a daughter, Mary Kerr Freund of Darien; and three grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher and Michael Freund. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Aquilino and Rose DiIulio and one brother, Frank Gallo all of Stratford, CT. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Kerr; three brothers, Anthony, Salvatore and Carmen Gallo and one sister, Josephine Tavella.
Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery in Stratford, CT.
